The Department of Electronics three year semester course ‘B.Sc.(Hons.) Electronics’ has been elevated to Four Year ‘B.Tech. Electronics’ course. The students would be awarded B.Tech. degree from the University of Delhi after four year under this new course. The department has recently developed an air conditioned dark room with well equipped optical instruments including Optical Fiber kit. The department has also recently developed a lab with all the equipment required to conduct the experiments related to Electrical Machines, Digital and Analog Communications and Instrumentation for practical papers introduced in this new Four Year B.Tech. Programme.

STUDENT'S ACHIEVEMENTS

> Harshit Goyal, Ridhima Bhandari, Rohit Bharti students of B.Tech. Electronics, participated in the poster presentation in Innovation Conclave-2016 organized by Acharya Narendra Dev College, University of Delhi on 25-26th October 2016 and successfully presented a poster of innovation project ‘Reduction of Emission of Sox and Nox from Motor Vehicle’.


> Innovation Project (KM-304)‘ Reduction of Emission of Sox and Nox from Motor Vehicle’ was selected for display at Innovation Centre, University of Delhi. Harshit Goyal and Ridhima Bhandari, students of B.Tech Electronics, successfully presented the project at the innovation plaza.


> Projects of B.Tech Electronics were selected for abstract presentation and publication in conference proceedings of 2nd National Conference on Recent Development in Electronics (NCRDE-2017) organized by Department of Electronics IEEE EDS Delhi Chapter, University of Delhi, South Campus on 16th February 2017.


> A group of students headed by Shubham Kumar Sinha (B.Sc.(H) Electronics, 4th Semester) successfully designed and developed an innovative embedded system based project namely ‘LED Analog Wall Clock’ under the guidance of their mentor. This project was displayed on the day of inauguration of new club (CESAR) in the department of electronics.
