Hostel Facilites



     5.1 Medical


  • A first-aid box containing some patent medicines is maintained in the medical room to help residents at odd hours.

  • Regular visit of a lady doctor has been started in the hostel in order to tab the health of resident students on regular basis. However, a resident student may avail the services of a private doctor at her own cost. In case of a medical emergency the resident is taken to the nearest hospital. The parents/ local guardians are informed, and are expected to take charge of their ward immediately.
  • The hostel is in close proximity of Bhagwan Mahavir Hospital. All cases of ailments may be referred there.

     5.2 Laundry

     Laundry services are provided to all residents.

   5.3 Sports

Hostel residents interested in sports may avail the sports facilities of the college (during college hours). Along with the extensive playgrounds, the college has the following facilities and coaching camps:

·         Gym facility in the college

·         Tennis and Badminton courts

·         Basketball courts

·         Indoor games available in the college sports room (during college hours)

   5.4 Telephone and Internet Connectivity

The resident students can use telephone and Internet connectivity provided in hostel office. Plans are underway to provide Internet facility individually too for them.

·         The hostel office telephone can be used to receive outstation calls only from 6.00 a.m. to 9.30 p.m.

·         No outgoing calls are allowed on the office telephone.

  5.4 Other Facilities

·            Refrigerators and microwave ovens are provided on each floor

·         Facility for ironing of the clothes is provided

·         There is a common worship place for resident students in the hostel premises

·         Both Hindi and English newspapers are made available for the residents
